FAQ’s
-
Beotool is a specialist in the design, development, manufacturing and maintenance of extrusion tools for WPC (Wood Plastic Composite), window profiles, roller shutters and technical composite applications. With more than 30 years of experience, Beotool supports extruders from the first product concept to full-scale production, including flow simulation, in-house tool manufacturing and aftercare services.
-
Beotool designs and manufactures tailor-made extrusion dies and die systems for WPC decking, window profiles, roller shutters, cladding, fencing and technical composite profiles. This includes custom extrusion dies, modular die systems, calibration units, cooling tanks and granulation heads. We also develop laboratory-scale tools for research institutes, universities and R&D departments.
-
Absolutely. While Beotool tools are optimised for Beologic's "ready-to-use" WPC compounds, our modular die design is fully compatible with other well-developed WPC and technical polymer formulations. Our engineering support and maintenance services are also open to extruders working with any compound supplier.
-
Flow simulation (CFD — Computational Fluid Dynamics) is a digital method for modelling how a polymer compound flows through a die geometry. By simulating the flow before manufacturing begins, Beotool can identify and correct pressure imbalances, hot spots or geometry issues that would otherwise only become apparent during production trials. The result is a tool that performs correctly from the first run, with significantly less scrap and start-up time.
-
Yes. We regularly support the installation and commissioning of extrusion tools at customer facilities, including running the first industrial production trials. We document process parameters during start-up and provide training for your production team.
-
Lead time depends on the complexity of the profile, the level of simulation required and current production capacity. For most projects, we can provide an indicative timeline during our initial engineering consultation. We recommend getting in touch early in your product development cycle to allow sufficient time for design, simulation and manufacturing.

Beotool's tools are used wherever composite and technical profiles are extruded: WPC decking and cladding, PVC and WPC window profiles, roller shutter slats, fencing, automotive trim, industrial components and more. We also supply laboratory tooling to universities, research institutes and training centres
-
Yes. Sustainability is central to everything we do. As a member of Sustainable Development Group (SDG), Beotool operates in alignment with the UN Sustainable Development Goals. We advise customers on the use of recycled and bio-based materials, help reduce production scrap through precise tool design, and build tools designed for longevity. Our sister company Beologic specifically focuses on carbon-neutral compound solutions.

Beotool is headquartered in Sint-Denijs, Belgium (Jolainstraat 44, 8554 Sint-Denijs). While we are Belgian at heart, we work with extruders and manufacturers across Europe and internationally. Our engineering team is accustomed to remote project coordination and can travel for on-site installations and support.
